Connecting the Mobile App to your NLSS Gateway

 The NLSS mobile app is a free app designed to allow for remote viewing of cameras, remote opening of doors (Cloud Services Connections only) and using your smartphone as a mobile camera.

Hardware Affected: GW500, GW3000, GW4000, GW4500, GW5000, Cloud Services
Software Affected: Mobile App Version 1 (12-1-12) 



   



 Obtaining the NLSS Mobile App 



  The mobile app is available through either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.  The app is not available at this time for Windows mobile or Blackberry. 

 Search for "nlss"  

 Install the app 

  



 Connecting your Mobile App to a local gateway on the same network 



  Open the app and choose the "+" button in the upper right hand corner 

 Tap the "local" button to specify a local connection 

 Give the connection a name.  The name is user definable (i.e. customer name, or site name) 

 Under "server", enter the gateway's IP address (i.e. 192.168.0.100) 

 Under "User", enter your username (i.e. user@company.com) 

 Under "Password", enter your password 

 Click Connect 

  



 Connecting your Mobile App to your Cloud Services Account 



  Open the app and choose the "+" button in the upper right hand corner 

 Tap the "RMS" button to specify a Cloud connection 

 Give the connection a name.  The name is user definable (i.e. customer name, or site name) 

 Under "server", enter the URL as you would on your computer browser.  It is important that if you use a subdomain, you enter it here (i.e. nlss-demo.nextls.net) 

 Under "User", enter your username (i.e. user@company.com) 

 Under "Password", enter your password 

 Under "Organization", enter your organization (i.e. nlss-demo) 

 Click Connect
